Over three months later and I’m back. I have lots of excuses I could use like I moved apartments, went home for the holidays, and hurt my back.  I could tell you that life has been busy so I didn’t have any time to write about my Australian adventures; that would be one big fat lie. In fact I have had plenty of time to sit down and write about what I have been up to, I’ve just chosen not to. I have about zero motivation to do anything (sorry mom and dad), but it’s the truth. I pretty much have to force myself to study or school, not mention all the other things in my normal daily life. I’m beginning to get back into the normal swing of things again so let my highlight some things that have happened the last couple of months…

First off I moved apartments. It’s a long and tiring story that I won’t bore anyone with, but I am happy to announce that I am much happier in my new apartment! My new housemates have been lovely and turned out to actually be cool so that was a bonus.  After exams a group of friends and myself went to Melbourne, and I fell in love with yet another city in Australia. We had an amazing time and the city reminded me so much of Seattle. It was a great way of spending my last couple of days with my best friend Chris (if you have read this before you know that he’s my best friend I’m just not his best friend) before he went back home to Germany. Saying goodbye was hard, I cried like I normally do and he stood there awkwardly. I also visited home for the first time since I moved, it was wonderful seeing everyone again. My family has been my biggest supporters so I loved seeing them all, but I was happy to come back to Newcastle. I am slowly starting to see this place as home, which is something I never thought I would find myself saying. My second semester of school started and that’s pretty much when I hit my wall called no motivation. Don’t worry dad I am still getting all my shit done, I just don’t want to do it. Therefore I have avoided writing anything since my last post.

After weeks of no motivation I am slowly climbing out of this pit hole and getting more motivated. Plus I got tired of my dad constantly asking when I was going to write again, so here you go dad this one is for you.
